Northcote Manor, Burrington, Umberleigh, North Devon, EX37 9LZ
Wisteria clad Northcote Manor is a country house hotel set at the end of a deeply wooded driveway in North Devon.
Set in 20 acres of woodlands, lawns and gardens overlooking the Taw River Valley, Northcote is a hotel in which you can thoroughly relax and unwind.
The bedrooms emit an air of country glamour. The delicate palette is complemented with deep reds, Chinese blues, regal purples and luxurious metallic tones. The rooms are wistful and romantic, much like the manor and grounds.
Each room provides fluffy bathrobes, L'Occitane bath products and an added personal touch of homemade short bread. For additional relaxation the attentive and friendly staff can also arrange in room treatments from a local beauty therapist.
Head Chef Rickie Herkes will treat you to locally sourced culinary delights in the hotel's restaurant. You can enjoy a light lunch in the slate roof conservatory, or, for a more traditional dining experience, dinner in the restaurant's dining room.
The restaurant's decor is just as exceptional as the rest of the hotel. The walls are adorned with original artwork detailing the manor's history from its time as a monastery to the era of King Henry VII.
Northcote Manor's rates are £160.00 for a Standard room, £215.00 for a Superior room and £260.00 for all Suites. These rates are per night based on two people sharing and include a full Northcote breakfast and VAT at 17.5%.
